Legal awareness training on legal aid for the residents in Phu Tho Province

(L&D) As part of the Legal aid work plan 2025, the Department of Legal Dissemination, Education and Legal Aid (Ministry of Justice) organized a training conference to enhance knowledge on legal aid in Thung Nai Commune, Phu Tho Province.
The conference attracted a large number of participants from hamlets across Thung Nai Commune, such as Bac Son, Tieng, Chieng, Mo, Dai, and De hamlets. Among the participants were village heads, representatives of local mass organizations, respected community members, and grassroots officials who work closely with local residents.
In his opening remarks, Mr. Luu Van Truong, Vice Chairman of Thung Nai Commune, expressed his delight that the locality had been selected to host the training session on legal aid. He emphasized that this is a highly practical activity, helping village officials, community leaders, and respected persons better understand legal aid policies and procedures so that they can promptly guide local people when facing legal difficulties. This, in turn, enables residents at the grassroots level to gain faster access to the State’s free legal services, thereby contributing to the protection of their lawful rights and interests.

From there, the representative of Thung Nai Commune also affirmed that the commune authorities will continue to work closely with the State Legal Aid Center and regularly carry out communication activities to ensure that local people are informed, have confidence in, and proactively seek legal aid services when needed.
At the conference, Speaker Bùi Quang Ngọc, Deputy Director of State Legal Aid Center No. 03 of Phu Tho Province, presented key knowledge on legal aid regulations, including eligible beneficiaries, types of support, procedures, and contact information. Drawing on his many years of practical experience in handling legal aid cases, Mr. Ngọc provided numerous vivid and specific examples, making the content easier for participants to understand and apply.

The participants engaged in lively discussions, sharing difficulties and experiences in the process of disseminating information and guiding people to access legal aid services. The democratic and open atmosphere created a practical forum that helped grassroots officials and reputable community figures enhance their legal knowledge while improving their skills in communicating and promoting legal aid within the community.
The training conference was conducted in a serious and effective manner, providing participants with a wealth of useful knowledge. Through the program, attendees were equipped with legal knowledge and skills related to legal aid work, thereby contributing to strengthening people’s access to legal aid at the grassroots level.
Overview of the Conference
The knowledge and skills acquired at the conference will serve as essential resources for the participants to continue fulfilling their role as a bridge between the public and legal aid activities. Through their efforts, local residents will receive timely guidance and referrals to the State Legal Aid Center when they need legal advice, assistance, or protection of their legitimate rights and interests. Consequently, legal aid work will be expanded and deepened to reach every village and hamlet, helping people better understand the law, confidently speak up to protect their legitimate interests, and contribute to building a more civilized community that lives and works in accordance with the Constitution and the law.
The training activity has contributed to the effective implementation of legal aid components within the National Target Programs and reaffirmed the commitment of the Department of Legal Dissemination, Education and Legal Aid under the Ministry of Justice to bringing knowledge of legal aid to the people.
(L&D) - The implementation of the Law on Legal Aid 2017 in Lao Cai Province has been carried out in a methodical and comprehensive manner, generating many positive changes and clearly reflecting the humanistic nature of legal policies in social life.

(L&D) On November 11, the Department of Legal Dissemination, Education and Legal Aid (Ministry of Justice), in coordination with the State Legal Aid Center of Thanh Hoa Province, organized a training conference to enhance knowledge about legal aid for village elders, village heads, reputable community members, local residents, and related organizations and individuals in three communes: Van Xuan, Luong Xuan, and Linh Son (Thanh Hoa Province).
(L&D) - On the afternoon of November 10, the Ha Noi Public Administration Service Center launched a smart kiosk for verification and issuance of digital document copies. The entire process - from cross-checking and official digital signing to printing copies with a QR code for each file - has been reduced from 15 minutes to 3–5 minutes, increasing the working efficiency of judicial officers by 3–5 times.
(L&D) Under the comprehensive leadership of the Communist Party and the resolute direction of the Government, the two-level local government model has been systematically implemented in line with the requirements of unified administration, organizational consistency, and coherence of objectives: reducing intermediary levels, enhancing governance efficiency, and taking public satisfaction as the measure of performance.
(L&D) - The operation of the legal aid hotline and mobile legal aid application is one of the important steps in the digital transformation of the judicial sector, aiming to ensure that all citizens can access justice in a fair, transparent, and more convenient manner.
(L&D) According to the Ministry of Home Affairs, as of October 28, a total of 146,836 individuals (accounting for 99.99%) had received payments of policies and benefits under Decree No. 178/2025/ND-CP. Among them, all 34 provinces and cities have completed the disbursement.
