According to Yonhap News Agency, on November 7, South Korea’s Office of National Security (ONS) convened an emergency meeting to discuss the latest launch, which is believed to be a short-range ballistic missile by North Korea.
The ONS stated that it is reviewing response measures and directing relevant agencies to take necessary actions. It called on Pyongyang to cease actions that South Korea considers threatening to peace on the Korean Peninsula, while noting that the missile launches violate United Nations Security Council resolutions.
