Mr. Ta Anh Tuan – Deputy Secretary and Chairperson of the Provincial People’s Committee – delivers a speech at the Congress.

At the opening of the Congress, Comrade Ta Anh Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, emphasized: The First Patriotic Emulation Congress marks an important milestone, demonstrating a new stage of development in the patriotic emulation movement of Dak Lak Province. The Congress holds even greater significance as it takes place during the period of the merger between Dak Lak and Phu Yen provinces, opening up a broader space for development and affirming the stature, position, and strong aspiration for advancement of Dak Lak in the new era.

ver the past five years, the two former provinces of Phu Yen and Dak Lak have implemented numerous practical and effective patriotic emulation movements, which have generated widespread impact and achieved comprehensive results. These movements have made important contributions to the successful fulfillment of political, socio-economic, and national defense–security tasks, as well as Party and political system building. Many collectives and individuals have been awarded noble distinctions by the Party and the State, such as Orders, the Government’s Emulation Flags, Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister, and various other commendations.

Particularly, since 1 July 2025, Dak Lak Province has officially operated under a two-tier local government model. Despite initial challenges, the two-tier government apparatus has now been operating stably, effectively, and efficiently, meeting the requirements of serving the people and creating a solid foundation for the province to further promote patriotic emulation movements and successfully accomplish its development goals in the new phase.

The First Patriotic Emulation Congress of Dak  Province, held immediately after the success of the First Provincial Party Congress, further affirms the confidence, determination, and aspiration for advancement shared by the entire Party Committee, authorities, and people of all ethnic groups in the province.

“This Congress serves as a goal, a driving force, and a strong call to action - encouraging all cadres, Party members, armed forces personnel, the business community, and people of all ethnic groups across the province to actively emulate and strive for outstanding achievements, successfully fulfilling the goals and tasks set forth by the First Provincial Party Congress, thereby contributing to building a comprehensively developed Dak Lak where people’s lives are increasingly prosperous and happy,” Comrade Ta Anh Tuan affirmed.
