In the list of award-winning works attached to Decision No. 08-QD/BTCCt dated 10 December 2025 of the Organizing Committee of the Competition, the Party Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Lawyers Association had 02 works honored.
In the Consolation Prize category, the work titled “Protecting the Party’s ideological foundation through the social criticism role of citizens” by author Phan Van Lam (Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Law and Development) was recognized.

In the Third Prize category, the work titled “Oriented communication: solutions for the press to effectively participate in protecting the Party’s ideological foundation in the new era” by author Le Van Trung (Member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Legal Studies, Institute of Legal Science & International Business) was awarded.
The two works reflect the strengths of the legal profession in approaching ideological and theoretical issues through systems thinking, rigorous argumentation, and an emphasis on evidence; at the same time, they expand the “theatre of engagement” from the legal sphere to the media sphere and social criticism. This is also the significance emphasized by the Organizing Committee: the Competition contributes to enhancing political awareness, ideological steadfastness, and the sense of responsibility of cadres and Party members; concurrently, it creates an environment for training and fostering theoretical capacity, political theory writing skills, and social criticism skills in the new context.
Speaking at the award ceremony, Mr. Tran Thang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Head of Steering Committee 35, and Head of the Organizing Committee of the Competition, emphasized the responsibility of each cadre and Party member in protecting the Party’s ideological foundation; he quoted General Secretary To Lam: “Protecting the Party’s ideological foundation is a vital task of the Party and the political system; it is the responsibility of every cadre and Party member”.

After the award ceremony, Mr. Tran Thang requested that press and media agencies within the Party Committee continue to widely publicize the award-winning works in order to create momentum for subsequent years; at the same time, he officially launched the Second Political Theory Writing Competition, 2026.
