FPS 2025 - "Sen's Resonance": Marking 11 years of tradition, spreading the spirit of youth in the Faculty of Political Science

(L&D) - On the evening of October 24, 2025, at the Main Hall of the Academy of Journalism and Communication, the annual freshman welcoming event FPS 2025 of the Faculty of Political Science took place in a colorful and emotional atmosphere under the theme “Sen’s Resonance” – The Resonance of Lotus Flowers. This marks the 11th year the program has been held, highlighting a persistent journey rich in humanistic values and the strong cohesion among the students of the Faculty.
The ceremony honoring and awarding the valedictorian, the new top-ranking students of the K45 classes of the Faculty of Political Science, as well as collectives and individuals who achieved outstanding accomplishments in the 2024–2025 academic year.
Inspired by the image of the lotus flower – a bloom that rises from the mud to greet the sunlight, FPS 2025 conveys a powerful message about the aspiration and determination of the youth of the Faculty of Political Science: “Mud beneath the feet, sunlight above the head,” overcoming difficulties, growing, and living responsibly within the community.
The program was honored by the presence of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lưu Văn Quảng – Vice Director of the Academy; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Thị Ngọc Hoa – Head of the Faculty of Political Science; Dr. Trần Thị Hoa Lê – Vice Head of the Faculty, along with numerous lecturers, delegates, sponsors, and especially the freshmen of the K45 cohort.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Thị Ngọc Hoa – Head of the Faculty of Political Science delivered the opening speech for the artistic program “Sen’s Resonance.”
The opening ceremony began with a heartfelt and guiding speech by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Thị Ngọc Hoa addressed to the new students. The Organizing Committee also expressed gratitude to the accompanying units and proceeded to honor the valedictorian, the new top-ranking students of the classes, as well as collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the 2024–2025 academic year.
The program emotionally kicked off with the choral performance “In the Next Life, Still Vietnamese.” The combination of heroic melodies and the lively atmosphere quickly energized Hall C’s stage. The performance not only spread a sense of national pride but also created a vibrant and emotional opening for the music night.

Following the opening, the music night presented a series of remarkable performances, meticulously invested in both content and form. This event was not only an opportunity to enjoy music but also a space to foster cohesion and spread the enthusiasm and positive energy of the youth at the Academy.
In particular, the appearance of singer Kai Đinh further excited the audience and made the atmosphere in the hall more vibrant than ever. Under the stage lights, Kai Đinh’s performance captivated the audience with his expressive voice and heartfelt melodies. In addition to delivering familiar “hits,” Kai Đinh also impressed with his warmth and approachability, actively engaging with the audience.
Adding to the wonderful emotions of the grand music night, the performance by the group WORKAHOLIC$ brought a highly energetic hip-hop “breeze.” With their captivating style, WORKAHOLIC$ created a lively and spirited atmosphere. Towards the end of the program, the excitement reached its peak as hundreds of audience members joined in the performance, generating a fervent wave throughout the hall.
“FPS 2025 – Sen’s Resonance” left an unforgettable emotional resonance in the hearts of the audience. Not only was the program impressive due to the meticulously prepared performances, but it also left a mark thanks to the meaningful message that the Organizing Committee wished to convey to the new students – a message about embarking on a new journey, about belief and youthful enthusiasm as they step into the doors of the Academy of Journalism and Communication.
(L&D) - The Politburo has reassigned and designated Mr. Vu Dai Thang, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee, to join the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee, and to serve as Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee for the 2025–2030 term. The Hanoi People’s Council has also elected Mr. Vu Dai Thang as Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee for the 2021–2026 term.
(L&D) - The National Legal Portal (phapluat.gov.vn) brings legal assistance closer to the people through accurate searches, online questions and answers, transparent monitoring of recommendations, along with an AI Assistant that “interprets” legal provisions in the digital era.
(L&D) - The Department of Legal Dissemination, Education, and Legal Aid (Ministry of Justice), in coordination with the Dak Lak Department of Justice, organized a training course on “Enhancing the Capacity of Grassroots Mediators,” aiming to build a cohesive community with respect for the rule of law.
(L&D) - With the objective of bringing the law closer to the people, especially those living in remote and isolated areas, Thanh Hoa has been actively implementing free legal aid activities, helping local residents understand their rights, grasp the procedures for accessing legal services, and become more confident in protecting their lawful rights and interests.
(L&D) - On the morning of October 31, in Hanoi, the Youth Union of the Central Agency of the Vietnam Lawyers Association, in coordination with the Center for Legal and Policy Consulting on Health and HIV/AIDS, and with the support of the Tobacco Harm Prevention and Control Fund under the Ministry of Health, organized the launching ceremony of the writing contest entitled “Understanding the Law on Tobacco Harm Prevention and Control” in order to spread the message “For the Health of the Community – Say No to Tobacco.”
(L&D) Viet Nam has entered a stage where it must make a clear choice: either continue to follow the “growth first – remedy later” model, or fully shift to a proactive prevention model that regards the environment as the foundation of sustainable development.
(L&D) - The Ministry of Ethnic Affairs and Religion is drafting a Prime Minister’s Decision approving the Scheme on dissemination and legal education suitable for each ethnic minority group, with emphasis on ethnic languages, traditional methods, practical content, and focusing on legal issues related to people’s livelihood.
(L&D) – In order to foster innovation from the grassroots level to the central level within the policy of streamlining the apparatus for greater efficiency, the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) is implementing a project to ensure the effective mobilization of social resources in a focused and prioritized manner.
